January: End of month roundup

End of month roundups have been a habit in my business for as long as I can remember and this morning I wondered if sharing them might be helpful?

Firstly to re-inforce the truth that no businesses are ever as shiny as Instagram may make them look AND to prompt you to do the same. And also because I forever forget what happened so it’s a handy timestamp.

It consists of:
✔️HIGH
✔️LOWS
✔️LESSONS LEARNT

I’m sure some business coaches would cringe at how simplistic this is but when it comes to just a month, I find it’s the perfect amount (plus it only takes 5 mins!).

HIGHS:

✔️Official launch of AB method product range

✔️New podcast - ‘Wish We Knew’ with Vix Meldrew

✔️Filming my course for Domestic in London

✔️Return of the 30 day reels thing

LOWS:

✔️Starting the Conversation (My Podcast) went of a break - it’ll be back!

✔️Over committed myself and got very worn out at times

✔️Found solo lockdown tricky - enough said

✔️Worried about income and had to remind myself it wasn’t launch month

LESSONS LEARNT:

✔️I might need better cashflow forecasting in placebo soothe said fluctuating income worries

✔️Outside opportunities are brilliant and it’s important to think about how they fit into my business

✔️Doing dry and no spend January during lockdown = a sad idea

✔️Having real life products it very cool
