All the business affirmations you need - A reminder to keep at it.
This video was taken a couple weeks back when I was feeling ROUGH. Change in my business, fear of judgement, comparison, exhaustion and self doubt came at once and culminated in me feeling totally lost, in a way I hadn’t before.
Struggling to take action. Feeling anxious. Not trusting my decisions. Worrying about future success. Looking for external validation. It sounds dramatic to say now but my friends (big love to them for putting up with my tears and FaceTime calls) can attest to how hopeless and stuck I felt. It was a tough couple of weeks.
I’m walking my way out of it now and wanted to share this incase any of you are feeling a similar way and need a little nudge to keep at it. It’s by no means a linear process but here’s what’s helped...
✔️Step back - running on empty isn’t ever going to solve the problem so no matter how counterproductive it may feel, give yourself permission to step back and take a rest.
✔️Go back to basics - it’s easy to lose focus of what matters so remind yourself of YOUR truth. Why do you do it? What’s your genius? Who are you showing up for? What’s your plan? Emphasis on YOUR truth, nobody else’s.
✔️Take action, when you feel ready - small steps will help you regain confidence and grow in clarity. It’ll feel uncomfortable but like any muscle, the more you use it, the stronger it gets.
I’m in phase 3 now (trust me to turn this into a strategy🙄) and excited to feel this passing. The ebbs and flows are all part of the process and they’re not made any easier by all that’s happening in the world right now. So if this resonates, please know you’re doing so much better than you think you are💛
